MEET GAURI

Ljóma Beauty was born because what I was looking for, didn’t exist.

After a decade of dealing with hormonal cystic acne, I had read everything, and tried everything. I knew what my skin needed. It wasn’t just pharmaceutical products. It wasn’t pure Ayurvedic products either. The answer lied somewhere in between. A thoughtful formulation that takes what’s best of the two worlds and combines it. A product where retinol works in harmony with ashwagandha. A product which delivers the combined benefit of turmeric and tranexamic acid.

The seed to build Ljoma was planted in my head after a brief but deeply impactful conversation with my mother. She perhaps knew towards the end of her life that my answer lied in my struggles. In the process of dealing with immense grief, after prolonged hopelessness, the urge to create took over. The goal? Deliver formulations India has not seen before.

That is how Ljoma was born.

Powered with .3% Encapsulated Retinol that performs a gentle release of retinol over time with barrier restoring ingredients like Ashwagandha and Phyto-Ceramides to avoid any retinol related irritation. Paired with our Brightening Gel Crème, a product we are very proud of. Infused with Alpha-arbutin, Tranexamic Acid, Turmeric to brighten any signs of sun damage.
